Indisputably one of the most stylish resorts in Baja California, the latest addition to the Nobu Hotels opened in November of 2019 and is the first property in Mexico from the rapidly expanding dining and hospitality empire helmed by Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Academy Award-winning actor Robert DeNiro, and Hollywood producer Meir Teper. Sitting atop a wide-open beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, the Nobu Los Cabos is located about seven miles west of the famous El Arco landmark, within the Diamante development, a gated community of luxury homes surrounded by two golf courses and is one of the only two resorts on the 1.5-mile coastline. The region’s remote location provides a real sense of tranquility and serenity.

The luxury resort embodies the creative vision of lead architects Monica Cuervo and Mark Yoshizaki from WATG, brought to life with unparalleled design. Comprising 200 guest rooms and suites, each offering exquisite ocean and resort views, the interiors, public spaces, and restaurants have been masterfully curated by Severine Tatangelo of Studio PCH. The design seamlessly marries contemporary Japanese minimalism with locally-sourced natural Mexican materials and finishes.

Drawing inspiration from the refined earthy palette characteristic of the Nobu brand's Japanese aesthetic, as well as the distinctive elements of Cabo San Lucas, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos stands as an elegant fusion of architectural sophistication and laid-back luxury. This fusion beautifully harmonizes the Japanese concept of balance with the white sandy beaches and cacti-laden landscape of Cabo San Lucas. Careful planning has ensured that the resort avoids the overwhelming atmosphere often associated with mega resorts.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by sleek minimalist lines that frame the Zen-inspired entrance, offering a breathtaking ocean vista. While the ocean immediately in front of the hotel may not be suitable for swimming, the resort presents a variety of alluring pool experiences to choose from. The Cortez Pool embodies a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, complete with open cabanas, submerged lounge chairs, and convenient access to the Playabar. For those seeking a more intimate setting, the Pacific Pool provides seclusion amidst smaller pools nestled within lush green foliage and enclosed cabanas. The resort also features the Cortez Swim-Up Bar Pool, where guests can relish refreshing drinks while immersed in the water, as well as the Infinity Pool situated in front of the renowned Nobu restaurant, offering a stunning panoramic view and an atmosphere of endless relaxation. These exquisite pool options cater to diverse preferences, ensuring an enjoyable and revitalizing stay for every guest.

Hints of Cabo's relaxed style are evident in the interplay of colors, textures, and geometric patterns. The influence of Japanese design graces the bathrooms, featuring Onsen-style soaking tubs that evoke a spa-like ambiance, while table lights reminiscent of Japanese lanterns cast a soothing radiance. Shoji screen-inspired closet doors and furnished balconies further enrich the blend of cultures. Exquisite and thoughtfully selected artwork graces each room, a testament to meticulous curation.
